High-Intensity Supports

Skilled, nurse-supervised support for complex clinical needs — PEG feeding, catheter and stoma care, complex bowel care and wound care — at home and in supported accommodation.

What counts as high-intensity?

The NDIS Practice Standards define high-intensity daily personal activities as supports carrying clinical risk, including:

  • Enteral (PEG) feeding and nutrition
  • Complex bowel care
  • Urinary catheter management
  • Stoma care
  • Complex wound care
  • Subcutaneous injections

How we keep it safe

  • Named training — every worker holds current, support-specific training, refreshed on schedule
  • Nurse-led oversight — registered nurses write protocols, sign off competency and are on call for escalation
  • Individual health support plans — developed with your treating health professionals, never generic templates
  • Honest scoping — if we can’t support something safely yet, we’ll say so and tell you what we’d put in place first

Where we deliver it

In participants’ own homes and across our SIL and SDA homes in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth — including 24/7 rosters with active overnight support.

Good to know: high-intensity supports attract specific NDIS price limits and require providers to meet the high-intensity skills descriptors — ask us anything about how this works.

Complex needs? Talk to us.

We’ll review the clinical picture with our nursing team and give you a straight answer on what we can support.
